重新研究了产于辽西义县组下部的带羽毛小型兽脚类恐龙长掌义县龙(Yixianosaurus longimanus) 的不完整骨架。系统发育分析得出义县龙属于手盗龙类基干类群,与阿尔瓦雷斯龙( Alvarezsaurus) 、镰刀龙类、除阿尔瓦雷斯龙之外的其他阿尔瓦雷斯龙类以及由窃蛋龙类和副鸟龙类等进步手盗龙类组成的一个类群形成多分支状态。义县龙既有原始特征,如臂指数低,第三指强壮; 也有进步特征,如乌喙骨近长方形,表明在手盗龙类当中,前肢演化呈现出比以前认为的更加复杂的镶嵌现象。强壮的前肢骨骼以及厚重、弯曲而尖利的手爪表明义县龙是捕食者,尽管这一认识尚待该属种更完整化石的发现来证实。义县龙在手盗龙类系统发育中的基部位置暗示,在虚骨龙类演化的这一节点上,前肢形态的变异范围更大。在许多方面,义县龙强壮的前肢和过度增大的弯曲爪子与长臂猎龙(Tanycolagreus) 和虚骨龙(Coelurus) 的相似,可能代表了这些属种与基干镰刀龙类和窃蛋龙类之间的过渡形态。义县龙保存了大的片状体羽,表明这些皮肤衍生物在虚骨龙类中的起源可能比以前报道的要早。最后,强壮而伸长的前肢暗示了其生态功能与根据同一区域的其他小型兽脚类推测的不同,支持了热河生物群的小型非鸟兽脚类中存在小生境划分的观点。  相似文献

The Ediacaran Weng’an Biota provides a unique window on marine diversity during the interval in which the fundamental animal body plans were being established. Here we describe a previously unreported component of the assemblage, millimeter-scale encysted spheres that exhibit a characteristic but simple slit-shaped excystment mechanism (Sporosphaera guizhouensis n. gen. n. sp.), reminiscent of acritarchs. The cysts contain a large inner body or numerous small discrete membrane-bounded bodies. It is possible that the inner bodies represent disaggregated cells of a multicellular body, like an embryo, but there is no evidence to support this interpretation and the occurrence of the excystment structure is not readily compatible with an embryo interpretation. Rather, we interpret the encysted organisms as multicellular stages within the lifecycle of otherwise probably unicellular eukaryotes. The developmental mode exhibited by Sporosphaera, incorporating a resting stage, implies an adaptation to adverse environmental conditions. This parallels the appearance of Large Ornamented Ediacaran Microfossils (LOEMs) which have been interpreted as diapause stages in the embryology of early animals. Sporosphaera is distinct from LOEMs by ornamentation instead of size, which may implicate that not all LOEMs are animal embryos, if any.  相似文献

伊克昭龙 (Ikechosaurus)是一类长吻的离龙类 ,以前根据内蒙古的材料建立了孙氏种 (I.sunailinaeSigogneau Russell,1 981 )及高氏种 (I.gaoiL櫣etal.,1 999)。根据蒙古的材料建立的TchoiriamagnusEfimov ,1 979也于 1 983年被原作者归入本属。本文记述了辽宁义县皮家沟九佛堂组新发现的一个近于完整保存的骨架 (中国科学院古脊椎动物与古人类研究所标本编号 :IVPPV 1 32 83) ,并建立一新种 :皮家沟伊克昭龙 (Ikechosauruspijiagouensissp .nov .)。新种以下列特征区别于伊克昭龙其他种 :轭骨前伸约至泪骨之半 ;眶间距小于眼眶短径 ;眶后骨与后额骨不愈合 ;髂骨片前突不发育 ,颈区不收缩 ;四肢中桡胫骨与肱股骨之比相对较小。另外其荐前椎数目与孙氏种相同 ,为 2 5枚 ,比鳄龙属 (Champsosaurus)少 1枚 ;坐骨明显比孙氏种短 ;桡肱骨长度之比为 0 .5 8,胫股骨长度之比为 0 .60 ,在所知新离龙类 (Neochoristodera)中属最小 ;前肢腕骨至少 7块 ,后肢跗骨至少 6块 ;指 /趾式均为 2 3 4 4 3。在正型标本中其第二远侧跗骨在左右脚中不对称。提出眶后骨与后额骨的愈合与分离以及轭骨眶后支发育程度不能作为Simoedosaridae和鳄龙科间的鉴别特征 ;股骨内转子与股骨头分离不该作为高氏种的鉴定特征 ;新离龙类?  相似文献

贵州早、中寒武世斗篷海绵科(Choiidae)的发现   总被引:7,自引:3,他引:4  
本文描述了贵州遵义下寒武统牛蹄塘组生物群和台江中寒武世凯里生物群中保存完整的斗篷海绵科(Choiidae)中斗篷海绵(Choia)和小斗篷海绵(Choiaella)化石标本,共计2属2种2未定种:Choia zunyiensis sp.nov.,Choia sp.,Choiaella avata sp.nov.和Choiaella sp.。Choia分布很广.在我国下寒武统澄江生物群及北美中寒武统的四大生物群中均有产出。Choiaella原仅产于我国澄江生物群,凯里生物群中Choiaella的发现使其时代上延至中寒武世。贵州早、中寒武世斗篷海绵科的发现及研究为海绵动物的早期演化及古地理学等方面的研究提供了重要的新材料。  相似文献

本文描述了采自贵州台江县革东镇八郎中寒武世凯里生物群中的软舌螺化石,计有1种,3相似种和1个未定种。即:Ambrolinevitus cf.ventricosus,Glossolites?sp..Haplophrentis?cf.carinatus,Linevitus opimus,Hyolithes?cf.cariniferus.凯里生物群中软舌螺特点是:1)壳体通常较大,呈宽锥形;2)背、腹壳区分明显,常具中槽或中脊;3)特别是以软舌螺目中的软舌螺科和线带螺科的软舌螺保存数量最多。完全与欧洲、北美相当层位中出现的软舌螺组合面貌相似;并与澄江动物群中的软舌螺在演化特征上是可衔接的。凯里生物群中的软舌螺除具有世界性属种外。还具地区特有的属种。这对研究软舌螺的地理分布、演化进程以及与凯里生物群组合关系有重要意义。  相似文献

契氏鸟(Chiappeavis)是首次发现保存有扇状尾羽的反鸟类,显示出尾羽球茎这一结构在较原始的反鸟类中已经发育.详细描述了巨前颌契氏鸟(C.magnapremaxillo)正型标本的骨骼形态学特征.契氏鸟的腭区形态与始祖鸟(Archaeopteryx)相似,而区别于晚白垩世的反鸟类戈壁鸟(Gobipteryx).即使具有尾羽球茎,鹏鸟类的尾综骨形态也表明该结构发育较差.估算了在契氏鸟中由扇状尾羽所产生的浮力,并与其他早白垩世鸟类进行对比.结果显示,契氏鸟的扇状尾羽所产生的空气浮力小于同时代生活的今鸟型类,这有可能解释了反鸟类中具有空气动力学功能的尾羽形态普遍缺乏的现象.  相似文献

Protomonaxonid sponges are a major group of Cambrian and Ordovician fossils in exceptionally preserved (especially Burgess Shale-type) faunas, but are rare thereafter. Rare examples of apparent surviving lineages are known from the late Palaeozoic and Mesozoic, but by this time more derived groups of sponges have generally displaced them in at least shallow-water (shelf depth) ecosystems. The early Spathian (Early Triassic) Paris Biota includes abundant material of a new leptomitid protomonaxonid, Pseudoleptomitus advenus Botting nov. gen., nov. sp., distinguished by having an unbundled longitudinal skeleton and very weak transverse component. This is the first post-Ordovician leptomitid known, and indicates long-term survival of the group in unknown environments. Its occurrence near storm wave base is similar to the preferred environment of earlier examples of the family, suggesting either ecological rarity or taphonomic reasons for their ∼200-million-year absence from later Palaeozoic rocks.  相似文献

After the end-Permian mass extinction, the Early Triassic (∼251.9 to 247 Ma) is characterized by several biotic crises that particularly affected marine faunas; accordingly, marine ecosystems from this unstable interval have been often described as heavily depauperate. This assumption, however, may relate to a biased fossil record. The discovery of taphonomic windows, like Konservat-Lagerstätten, in the Early Triassic would help to better understand the composition and diversity of ecosystems at that time. The Paris Biota (Idaho, USA) is a highly diverse fossil assemblage from the earliest Spathian (early late Olenekian, ∼250.6 Ma), indicating a rapid rediversification for many groups after the end-Permian crisis and pointing toward a remarkably complex marine ecosystem ∼1.3 m.y. after the Permian-Triassic boundary. However, its detailed taphonomy has not yet been investigated. Here we present the mineral characterization of four of its most abundant taxa: discinoid and linguloid brachiopods, leptomitid sponges, and caridean shrimps. For this purpose, we combined data from Raman microspectroscopy, Fourier Transform InfraRed spectroscopy, and SEM-EDXS. Although all taxa were preserved in calcium phosphate, the morphology, structuring and size of crystals are highly dissimilar at a nano- to micrometric scale. In brachiopods, the ultrastructure of calcium phosphate shows unorganized bacillary-like crystals, while in crustaceans their size is considerably smaller and round-shaped. Similar small crystals are observed in sponges. However, the ultrastructure of calcium phosphate in sponges exhibits a well-defined preferential orientation. In addition, sponges show some compressed but preserved three-dimensional features, with an inner surface better preserved. Such analyses are essential to understand the taphonomic pathways enabling exceptional preservation. The further comprehension of preservation features would help to understand potential bias on observed diversity signals and their interpretation.  相似文献

A unique ribonuclease named Biota orientalis ribonuclease (Biota orientalis RNase) is purified to homogeneity from mature seeds of oriental arborvitae (Biota orientalis). The molecular mass of Biota orientalis RNase is about 13 kDa. When the concentration of Mg(2+) is 25 mM in the incubation buffer, the ribonuclease specifically cleaves the phosphodiester bond between C4453 and A4454 in region K (a region in domain VII) of 28S RNA in rat ribosome, resulting in inactivation of ribosome. Thus, it is a ribotoxin similar to alpha-sarcin. The region around C4453-A4454 in rat 28S rRNA is named "Biota orientalis RNase region." Rat ribosome treated by Biota orientalis RNase produces a small RNA fragment (S-fragment) that contains 333 nucleotides from the 3'-terminus of rat 28S rRNA. The distance between the cleavage-sites of alpha-sarcin (G4325) and Biota orientalis RNase (C4453) is 128 nucleotides. Under restricted conditions (25 mM Mg(2+)), the substrate specificity of Biota orientalis RNase is extremely high: it acts only on the "Biota orientalis RNase region" of the largest RNA in ribosomes from certain eukaryotes. The ribosome specifically damaged by Biota orientalis RNase is unable to EF-1alpha-dependently bind aminoacyl-tRNA, whereas the formation of the EF-2/GDP/ribosome complex is not affected. It is proposed that Biota orientalis RNase inactivates ribosome at least partially by interfering with the EF-1alpha-dependent binding of aminoacyl-tRNA to ribosome. Biota orientalis RNase might be a useful tool in studying the structure/function of ribosome.  相似文献
